ABOUT US

The Woodshed is a paradox. In order to have life, there must first be a death. The cross today is a symbol of healing and life, but originally it was a symbol of excruciating death.

We are a 9-month residency with over 500 hours of biblical instruction focusing exclusively on who Jesus is and the nature of salvation. In addition, there will be over 300 hours of community service for our participants to help fund this ministry.

OUR PASTOR

Heath Kirkpatrick

We are passionate about God's Word! Pastor Heath lives to communicate and connect people to the truths in the bible. One of his favorites sayings is, "I'm not a salesman for Jesus, just a satisfied customer!" His energetic and animated style enables people of all ages to understand the message.

PASTOR ASSISTANT

Tyler Paschal

Tyler serves faithfully at by bringing both leadership and compassion to the men in our program. Having previously served in the military, Tyler understands the importance of discipline, perseverance, and brotherhood, and he now uses those experiences to encourage and mentor men toward lasting transformation in Christ.

DIRECTOR

Robert Kuhs,

Director of The Woodshed, serves alongside his wife, Laura Kuhs, with a passion to see men experience true gospel transformation. After spending many years trapped in addiction, homelessness, and incarceration, Robert came to realize that sobriety alone could never fix the deeper issue of the heart. It was only through surrendering his life to Jesus Christ and trusting in the power of His death and resurrection that lasting freedom began.
